A more recent "emigrant from Devonshire" line that only very recently left England. But have a brick wall at the 1800 time frame where paper records seem to go cold.

Key is there is a strong DNA matching to Hezekiah Hoar descendants. How they are related is not yet known. So more work is needed to push back on this line and in the English roots of Hezekiah's to understand how they relate to each other. See the combined DNA Grouping page for the different family branches that are matching in DNA.

The solid earliest patrilineal ancestors are the 3rd Great Grandparents William and Elizabeth. They appear in the 1841, 1851, and 1861 census records and reported as born in Combpyne. The informant on their 1867 death certificates was their neighbor in those census records: a Charlotte Prince. The ages in these records do not match (are xx, xx, and xx). Searching for Williams born in Combpyne in the 1780's (in the England Births and Christenings), one gets:
  • William Hoare, c25 Dec 1778, mother Dinah Hoare (unmarried)
  • William Hoare, c21 Jun 1781, parents William Hoare and Elizabeth
Malcolm has since researched the line. He also believes William and Elizabeth are the parents. And that Williams parents are also William and Elizabeth in Combpyne and with 5 children. But above that it varies. Malcolm lists William Seniors parents as John Hore b1680c in Combpyne and married to Elizabeth Griggs b1708. (Quite an age difference; almost 40 years?) John's parents are Jasper b1629 and wife Charity. Jasper's parents are Jasper and Elizabeth Battin With this Jasper Senior the son of Bernard Hore and Catherine Wheaton; the parents of Hezekiah Hore.

Going back to David's work, for the latter, in the HoareOrigins GED entry, David G has listed parents William and Elizabeth. In fact, if we follow his work (which is unsourced in the documentation we have), one gets the line: William1, William Hore0, Elias-1, George-2, Abraham-3. Abraham is born about 1610 and buried in Musbury on 25 Oct 1867. Musbury is the residence of most of this line that David G tracks.

David G then goes on to give unnamed parents for Abraham-3 and a number of siblings. But has a father George and listed ancestors for the unnamed father of Unnamed-4, George-5, Richard-6, Thomas-7. These latter generations are very sketchy with only approximate dates of birth and death. But David G. does list nuclear families with multiple children. He goes on to imply that Thomas of Musbury-7 is actually the son of Thomas-8 of Axminster and thus trying to imply the link to the EKA of the Hezekiah Hoar line. Note that he has an approximate birth of Thomas of Musbury-7 of 1482 and we know Thomas-8 of Axminster to be 1477. So clearly not a father if the years of birth are to be believed.
