Sometimes we see references to a
surname that may be related but we are not sure yet. Maybe a variant of a name not yet discovered as connected but where some body of work is already available. Or maybe a
DNA tester who matches into one of our groups but appears to be a different surname line as covered here. In these cases, we place the group here until further study can be had. They are not part of the
Active Branches nor
Known Branches as they are not (yet) a known variant covered by our project. Maybe they will fold into the main project, get identified as another variant covered here, or simply have a foster home for lack of anywhere else to go. They could be active.
