Founded by husband and wife team Dallan and Solveig Quass in 2007, and in cooperation with many in the industry often associated with the Church of the LDS / Mormons (FamilySearch, Allen County Public Library, etc); this is a one-tree site built on top of Wikimedia — the engine powering Wikipedia. Instead of building much custom code to take it away from a true Wiki, like WikiTree, WeRelate is trying to use the tools of Wikimedia to apply to a single-tree site; and with pretty good success.
