This page is protected to member login. And is available to B10DNA yDNA Test participants and special guests. Detailed are the specifics about yDNA matching within this group and the status of how we know, genealogically, a match fits in with the others. If still unknown, and not a public page describing it, we will detail the state of research here.

This group seems somewhat unique in that the yDNA is very stable over hundreds of years. Not even many STR changes occur very often. Unlike, for example the B09 group here, where STR and SNP changes occurred every 150 - 250 years and so different branches are well characterized. But maybe with additional testers on various branches, we can begin to see some defining changes. Below is a DNA / genealogy mix chart, like seen on page B09DNA, except done more simply in a spreadhsheet form with older generations on the right instead of top.

As a companion to that chart, here is a table form indicating the source of the yDNA testing, what trees the test result is published too, and how they are related to Randy. He happens to be the farthest, generation wise, of all tested to date. So "nth cousin, mth time removed" is always n+m generations from the ancestor for Randy.
